  1. Create a new organisation (you have to be an admin to do this)

  2. Name it for the topic you want, e.g. Remote Working

  3. Set permission level to be Activity Provider, and add to the group tag list (either business, community, personal, education etc) - This means you have created a container for activities- this is the “Category” that the subsequent topic falls into

    1. Go to /org

    2. Click New Organisation

    3. Make sure the Role = Plan Activities + Admin

    4. Make sure your Title makes sense and is short and sweet (it appears on the menu to the left in Offer and Ask)

  4. Join the organisation you created, and make yourself an orgAdmin. This is when you can add other members that you want to be able to create templates

  5. Now on your home page, you’ll see a button “New Template”

  6. Create the new template, give it a name, picture etc. Set the Offer Org to the one you want if there is more than one. Add tags for searching.Admin (it should’ve booted you straight into the org after you did step 1, but if it didn’t go to /org again and find it and click on it)

    1. Click on Staff Signup

    2. for validation code write your name

    3. click on validate

    4. click on Members straight away

    5. Find your name under “Organisation Joiners”

    6. Click on Add

    7. Find your name under “Organisation Members”

    8. Click on Make Admin

  7. Go to Offer to Help to add topics to this Category

    1. Click on New Template

    2. Make sure your Title is short and sweet, it will wrap and bung up rest of the grid

    3. Make sure your Subtitle is also short and sweet, it will also wrap and bung up rest of the grid

    4. Make sure you set the Activity Organisation to be the one you created in step 1

    5. Make sure you add lots of tags so people can find it

    6. Don’t click on Add Equipment unless you have lots of equipment

    7. Make sure you go to the Knowledge Base and create a blank topic with the same name as the topic you just created (in step 3b)
