Issue - Time Tracking

We want to record how much time each volunteer spends involved with a project and opportunity
This is required for several reporting purposes

Issue - Location Tracking

We want to know when volunteers are on site at a school.
Required for health and safety purposes

A lightweight Web/mobile application allows volunteers to sign in and out of a project or opportunity. We capture the user id, time in and out and location.

If a V8 is expected to be present at an event - i.e. its in the calendar then when that event starts we prompt / notify the person to sign in. This helps us identify people who may be ‘no shows’.

The App also allows the V8 to log if they have a problem getting to the site, and log an excuse.

Notifications go to the teachers so they know what is going on.

Data gathered feeds into the volunteer time and place metrics.

Location feeds into the ‘where it matters’ metric
