Workflow: Anon to Basic Member

Workflow for a new person signing up for Voluntarily and confirming various things before getting started.
When completed a person will have an account, be able to be an asker and will have accepted key terms and conditions.

  • Person sees an invitation to sign-up in various places.
    ( could be As an asker, as a volunteer)

  • Pre Auth0 registration they open a page that steps through one or more informational/ question screens.

  • - Privacy page & T&C

  • - Auth0 Instructions page.

They then enter the Auth0 signin/sign up UI and on return are sent to their home page.

  • A new person record is created which triggers the following actions

    • person is added to Voluntarily group making them an OP

    • OP_NEW topic is published which triggers

      • Welcome email to new person

      • allocation of OP_NEW goal card set which includes

        • complete the short profile

        • watch the introduction video - how to ask for help

        • Do you also want to offer help to other people i.e .become a volunteer.

        • if person is not-email verified then issue goal card to complete email verification.

    • if any goal cards are marked as ‘inyourface’ i.e must complete then the first one in the list should go modal and ask to be completed before continuing. Once completed these should disappear.
